Location: Remote (US) or Hybrid in Newark, NJ. Must be based in the United States. Time zone: 9am-6pm ET preferred.

Salary: $110k-120k base + 11-12k bonus

What you will do

• Model client growth trajectories to translate them into infrastructure and capacity scaling scenarios.
• Monitor API and AI agent usage patterns to anticipate future client needs and assist in dataset knowledgebase creation.
• Optimize query performance across Trino, Spark SQL, and BigQuery while tracking cost trends.
• Own product analytics reporting, focusing on usage, utilization, and growth.
• Reconcile usage and flag anomalies across AWS, GCP, and AI/ML tooling.
• Partner with engineering and product teams on database scaling decisions driven by client demand.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in data analytics, capacity planning, or BI roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong SQL skills with required experience in Trino and/or BigQuery.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Finance, and Sales teams.
• Preferred availability for 9am-6pm ET time zone.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with GCP Billing console and cost monitoring.
• Experience with Tableau or Looker for self-serve dashboards and operational reporting.
• Prior vendor contract negotiation or procurement experience.
• Experience with DB context management platforms (e.g., DataHub).
