What you will do
- Coordinate recruitment, admissions, and awards for the Master of Management and Bachelor of Management programs.
- Provide expert consultation and advising to prospective and current students regarding academic policies, registration, and fee assessment.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, including social media strategy and website optimization to attract high-calibre applicants.
- Manage student records, registration, and admissions databases using specialized systems outside of standard university infrastructure.
- Organize and conduct multi-faceted recruiting events both in-person and online.
- Liaise with internal university units and external organizations to improve program efficiency and student retention.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of related professional experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity based on the operational needs of the Faculty at the Okanagan campus.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally to promote programs.
- Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Nice to have
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
- Proven presentation skills adapted to diverse audience backgrounds in higher education.
- Ability to work effectively in an atmosphere of ambiguity while systems are being established.
- Strong interpersonal skills and tact when dealing with faculty, students, and staff.
