Focus on developing relationships with neonatologists, managing the Southern California territory, and leading educational initiatives for clinical teams.

Location: Hybrid (Southern California), must be able to commute to office location as required

Salary: $170,000 - $190,000 USD

What you will do

  • Drive territory growth by prospecting, developing, and closing new business with hospital-based NICU teams.
  • Serve as the primary account contact for neonatologists, hospitalists, and clinical staff.
  • Deliver tailored, consultative sales presentations to communicate the value of rapid genomic testing.
  • Collaborate with Health Systems Directors to engage hospital leadership and optimize sequencing utilization.
  • Lead educational initiatives, including hospital presentations, conferences, and clinical meetings.
  • Monitor utilization and impact using metrics and case studies to reinforce rWGS use cases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare or hospital-based sales, preferably NICU or genetics-focused.
  • Must be based in Southern California and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to manage complex clinical opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM documentation.
