Regional Director (Rare Disease/Genomics): Leading a regional sales team to drive the adoption of the Zenith™ clinical exome and genome testing portfolio with an accent on institutional partnerships and KOL engagement. Focus on scaling field execution, navigating complex clinical sales cycles, and expanding access to advanced genomic insights for rare disease patients.

Location: Must be based in the East US Region. Field-based position with travel up to 50%.

Salary: $265,000 – $295,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional sales team, focusing on professional growth and exceeding commercial targets.
• Develop and execute a regional business plan including territory optimization and resource management.
• Build enduring relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in developmental pediatrics, neurology, and medical genetics.
• Lead the field execution and adoption of the Zenith™ portfolio within major Children’s Hospitals and rare disease centers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Managed Care to remove barriers to patient access.
• Utilize Salesforce metrics and data-driven insights to forecast and improve regional performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the East US Region.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in biotech, pharma, or diagnostic sales.
• At least 3 years of proven success in a sales leadership role.
• Deep understanding of the rare disease landscape, medical genetics, or pediatric specialty markets.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS in Life Sciences is a plus.
• Ability to travel frequently (up to 50% or more).
