What you will do

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for platforms supporting large-scale genomic data generation.
• Partner with engineering, computational biology, and scientific stakeholders to translate research needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept and requirements through delivery and iteration.
• Design features to improve usability, accessibility, and performance for researchers working with complex datasets.
• Shape cloud-native systems that operate at cohort scale, spanning hundreds of thousands to millions of genomes.
• Ensure products meet rigorous standards for data security, compliance, and reproducibility.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's, 5+ with a Master's, or 2+ with a PhD in a related field.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving engineering and data science.
• Technical fluency in cloud platforms, distributed systems, and data pipelines.
• Experience building user-facing applications tailored for technical or scientific end-users.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets.
• Must be based in the United States (indicated by US-specific benefits and location).

Nice to have

• Experience with genomic data processing pipelines (e.g., variant calling or imputation).
• Familiarity with Terra, GCP, or similar cloud-based research environments.
• Background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related scientific fields.
• Exposure to regulated data environments such as FISMA or FedRAMP.
