What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of proteomic and peptidomic assays, including immunopeptidomic workflows.
• Drive assay innovation by identifying analytical gaps and building new experimental approaches.
• Operate and maintain LC-MS instrumentation, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Process and interpret mass spectrometry data using platforms such as PEAKS, FragPipe, DIA-NN, and Skyline.
• Collaborate with lab members to design upstream experiments that maximize data scientific value.
• Mentor and support junior lab members in proteomics-related techniques and analysis.

Requirements

• PhD-level expertise in molecular biology and protein chemistry with a focus on mass spectrometry-based proteomics or peptidomics.
• Demonstrated ability to independently develop, optimize, and execute complex assays.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS instrumentation and workflows.
• Proven track record of scientific productivity through publications or successful method development.
• Ability to critically analyze and adapt scientific literature to inform experimental design.
• Must be able to work on-site in Cambridge, MA.
