What you will do

• Perform experiments and assays under the guidance of Senior Scientists.
• Utilize analytical and computational methodologies to analyze experimental results.
• Assist in the development of new diagnostic assays.
• Maintain meticulous records of experimental details and outcomes.
• Prepare biological samples and reagents to accelerate the R&D process.
• Coordinate and support overall lab operations.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Molecular and Cell Biology, Microbiology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of research experience (during or after degree).
• Extensive experience with PCR, electrophoresis, and DNA purifications.
• High mathematical and statistical aptitude.
• Must be able to work on-site in Menlo Park, CA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of medical genetics or experience in a cell-free DNA setting.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation.
• Computational analysis skills in R, Python, or other programming languages.
