What you will do

• Own cloud financial management including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimization.
• Drive cloud cost reductions through usage analysis, rightsizing, storage optimization, and collaboration with Cloud Operations and Engineering.
• Establish financial guardrails, cost attribution models for chargeback/showback, and embed FinOps into operations.
• Build executive dashboards, reports, and narratives translating cloud spend into insights.
• Automate FinOps processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and integrate into provisioning pipelines.
• Partner with Architecture, Platform, Security, Product, Finance, and leadership to operationalize FinOps at scale.

Requirements

• 8+ years in cloud financial management, FinOps, cloud operations, or architecture, ideally in FinTech or regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Deep hands-on experience managing cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of FinOps frameworks, cost optimization, and financial governance.
• Experience building executive dashboards and narratives using cloud billing data.
• Proven cross-functional partnership with Engineering, Finance, Security, and leadership; strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• FinOps Practitioner or Professional certification.
• Experience implementing chargeback/showback models at enterprise scale.
• Background in platform engineering or cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and managed services providers.
