FP&A Lead (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end budget creation, long-range planning, and headcount planning in partnership with department leaders.
• Build and manage agentic workflows using AI tools (Claude Code, Gemini, ChatGPT) to automate NetSuite/HubSpot data extraction and cash flow forecasting.
• Own the analysis of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and the full P&L to ensure capital efficiency.
• Provide quantitative foundations for pricing analysis and strategic business pivots as an advisor to senior leadership.
• Align financial models with operational reality, including revenue recognition and billing processes.
• Support fundraising efforts by preparing investor presentations, due diligence data, and Board of Directors decks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• 5+ years of FP&A experience within global VC-backed SaaS companies, including IC experience.
• Proven track record of building FP&A processes and reporting structures from the ground up in high-growth environments.
• Expert-level proficiency with AI tools, specifically Claude Code, to automate financial operations.
• High level of proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel financial modeling skills.

Nice to have

• CPA designation.
• Big 4 alumni experience, specifically from Valuation or Strategy departments.
• Hands-on experience with FP&A system implementations.
• Prior managerial experience with the potential to scale a team.
