Location: San Francisco, CA. Expected to work from the office 3+ days a week. Relocation stipend may be available for hub locations (Denver, SF, Nashville, or Santiago).

Salary: $169,000 - $199,000 USD

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for Truework product areas, covering borrower, lender, and internal operational experiences.
• Simplify complex financial workflows including verification requests, document collection, and consent/authorization.
• Utilize AI-assisted design and development tools for rapid prototyping and lightweight UI implementation in code.
• Create high-fidelity interaction and visual designs for responsive web surfaces, producing clear specs for engineering.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Legal/Compliance to align user needs with business outcomes.
• Contribute to the global design system to improve consistency and quality across Truework.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of product design experience with a strong track record of shipping high-quality work.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking: problem framing, exploration, rationale, and measurable impact.
• Ability to distill complex domains and edge cases into simple, usable flows.
• Experience planning and executing lightweight research, such as interviews and usability testing.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to a hub location (San Francisco, Denver, Nashville, or Santiago).

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, lending, mortgage, identity, or other high-trust regulated spaces.
• Background designing B2B/B2B2C products and workflows used by operations teams.
• Familiarity with scalable component thinking and design system documentation.
• Experience designing for secure data, consent, and privacy-forward user experiences.
