TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (Growth): Designing key moments across onboarding, activation, monetization, and retention within a mobile-first financial product with an accent on experimentation, behavioral insights, and data analysis. Focus on optimizing upgrade flows, cancellation paths, and in-app nudges to increase conversion and retention while maintaining high usability.

Location: Remote-friendly, but typically associated with New York, Washington D.C., or Detroit (US-based)

Salary: $140,000 – $160,000/year + bonus

What you will do

  • Lead creative experimentation by designing A/B and multivariate tests to unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Shape upgrade and value communication flows to ensure they are clear, confident, and trustworthy.
  • Translate complex financial decisions into intuitive user flows that reduce cognitive load.
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on experiments using behavioral data and qualitative insights.
  • Leverage and contribute scalable patterns to the design system to ensure consistency across growth surfaces.
  • Communicate experiment rationale, tradeoffs, and performance outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX, or interaction design.
  • Proven track record in growth, conversion rate optimization (CRO), activation, retention, or monetization.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experimentation work, including A/B testing and funnel optimization.
  • Experience working within mobile app ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in working with design systems and component libraries.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial information into intuitive, actionable decisions.
