What you will do

• Build and lead the UX function from the ground up, including hiring and managing a team of UX researchers and UI designers.
• Create and maintain a unified design system and component library to ensure consistency across the equity platform.
• Establish a rigorous UX research practice involving usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and customer interviews.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to integrate user-centered design into the full product development lifecycle.
• Direct the UX vision and interaction patterns for the NextGen platform modernization initiative.
• Present UX strategy and research findings to product leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of UX experience in research and design, with 2+ years in a management or team lead capacity.
• Proven experience building or scaling a UX function within a B2B SaaS product organization.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Deep proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping workflows.
• Strong knowledge of UX research methodologies and interaction design patterns for data-intensive enterprise applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or equity compensation SaaS.
• Experience supporting platform migration or significant UX re-architecture.
• MBA or advanced degree in a design, HCI, or research-related discipline.
• Experience managing external design contractors or agency partnerships.
