What you will do

• Own production planning and scheduling for assigned products or value streams across short-, mid-, and near-term horizons.
• Translate forecasts, customer demand, and MPS targets into executable plans while managing trade-offs in service, inventory, and capacity.
• Support master production schedule by validating demand feasibility and providing input on capacity constraints and lead times.
• Analyze labor, equipment, and material constraints; partner with manufacturing to resolve gaps.
• Collaborate with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, and quality on material availability and schedule changes.
• Maintain planning data accuracy and track metrics like schedule adherence and inventory impact; drive continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials planning.
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Infor etc.).
• Experience balancing demand, capacity, and material constraints.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, scenario analysis).
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and ability to influence without authority.

Nice to have

• APICS / ASCM CPIM certification.
• Experience in high-mix, make-to-order, or capacity-constrained environments.
• Exposure to S&OP / S&OE processes and demand planning concepts.
