TL;DR
Senior HR Generalist (Manufacturing): Serving as primary on-site HR for Monroe facility and supporting organization-wide programs with an accent on employee relations, compliance, and engagement initiatives. Focus on managing onboarding, leaves, disciplinary processes, and translating employee feedback into action plans.
Location: On-site at Monroe manufacturing facility (USA) with multi-state compliance knowledge (CA, NY, WA strongly preferred); ability to travel <10%.

What you will do
- Serve as day-to-day HR resource at Monroe facility: employee relations, attendance, disciplinary processes, terminations.
- Manage onboarding, contingent workforce, leave of absence (STD, FMLA, ADA), EHS compliance, and workforce reports.
- Act as employee advocate: policy guidance, performance coaching, conflict resolution, sentiment monitoring.
- Drive employee engagement: execute programs, action VOE survey results, partner on gap identification.
- Provide cross-org virtual HR support: onboarding, benefits, recruitment coordination, policy updates.
- Partner on benefits/payroll: handle employee questions, new hire processing, open enrollment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in HR, Business Admin or related; 3–5+ years HR generalist experience, manufacturing/industrial preferred.
- Solid knowledge of US employment law (FMLA, ADA, OSHA, multi-state incl. CA/NY/WA preferred).
- Experience with contingent workforce, HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors preferred), onboarding.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication skills; self-starter with discretion.
- Ability to build relationships across plant floor to leadership; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

- PHR/SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience supporting multiple groups/business units.
