What you will do

• Lead the daily engineering of Oracle database pipelines and complex data replication processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure database architectures accurately reflect core business processes.
• Perform advanced PL/SQL engineering, including triggers, procedures, and packages, alongside rigorous performance tuning.
• Support and troubleshoot IBM MQ architecture, managing queue-level operations and message flow integrity.
• Monitor daily latency and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) workflows to prevent system downtime.
• Contribute to multi-year modernization initiatives, including cloud migrations to GCP and automation of database tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Database Engineering or Administration, focusing on the Oracle ecosystem.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle database engineering and PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on experience managing Message Queuing (MQ) and distributed data flows.
• Solid understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) processes and data integration methodologies.
• Must be prepared to pass a drug test and a pre-employment background check.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Mainframe technologies or legacy data structures.
• Experience with Cloud data migrations, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting for automation using Python or Java.
