What you will do

• Define and execute a long-term global communications strategy integrating executive, corporate, policy, internal, and product narratives.
• Lead media and press relations to restore a strong presence in key financial and crypto outlets.
• Manage company-wide internal and executive communications, particularly regarding regulated topics and major milestones.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, shaping narratives and strategic recommendations.
• Utilize AI tools and systems to optimize content development, research, and measurement.
• Coordinate external agencies, advisors, and cross-functional partners across different regions and time zones.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York (Remote)
• 12+ years in communications with senior leadership experience in tech, fintech, or financial services.
• Deep experience across executive, corporate, policy/regulatory, internal, and product communications.
• Proven ability to manage press relations and re-establish brand presence in industry forums.
• Track record of partnering closely with C-level leaders as a voice extension.
• Ability to operate across US and international markets.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in crypto-native companies such as Coinbase or Circle.
• Prior experience in regulatory or policy communications, especially in Washington DC.
• Experience building or scaling a communications function, including team and agency management.
• Background in payments, fintech, or TradFi with strong connections to finance reporters.
