What you will do

• Work with mission engineers to design, create, test, and execute satellite operations procedures, including commissioning and nominal operations.
• Investigate anomalies and collaborate with mission operations and engineering teams to resolve them safely.
• Participate in commanding activities for operational spacecraft.
• Develop tools and processes to maintain high service uptime for customers.
• Automate manual processes using scripting and software tools.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in engineering, physics, or computer science related major
• Experience in scripting with Python
• Basic understanding of satellite systems
• Highly motivated, self-starting, able to perform duties without supervision
• Passion for fast-paced environment and hands-on development/testing

Nice to have

• Experience doing telemetry analysis and anomaly investigations
• Experience building operational software tools and user-friendly UIs
• Experience with software development tools such as Git
