What you will do

• Architect, integrate, and validate system-level simulations throughout the aerospace project lifecycle.
• Design simulation architectures, including internal/external interfaces, facilities, and software models.
• Develop real-time hardware interfaces and maintain an in-house real-time software framework.
• Write and automate test plans to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Lead small teams of engineers or work independently as a subject matter expert.
• Integrate 3D visualization tools and support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) infrastructure.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics (PhD preferred).
• 7-10 years of experience in Systems Engineering or related fields.
• Significant professional experience with C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Experience developing systems with human factors, UI/UX, and usability requirements.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in C/C++ development within a Linux environment (Bash, GCC, GDB).
• Experience with GNC systems and 6DOF dynamics.
• Familiarity with communications protocols and hardware drivers.
• Experience in engineering team leadership and presenting results to customers.
