TL;DR

Corporate Counsel (SaaS): Managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle for Digital Procurement Networks and SaaS platforms with an accent on negotiation, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Focus on drafting complex commercial agreements, overseeing GDPR compliance, and supporting M&A activity.

Location: Hybrid based out of Waltham, MA or Chicago, IL. Unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization.

What you will do

  • Lead the creation, negotiation, and execution of contracts for DPN, SaaS, and Supply Chain consulting.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal analyses to identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and privacy laws, including GDPR.
  • Partner with sales, product, and finance teams to align legal strategy with business objectives.
  • Optimize contract management processes and develop scalable standard templates.
  • Provide assistance with the company's robust M&A pipeline.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Massachusetts, Illinois, or Florida.
  • 3-4+ years of experience as a corporate/transactional attorney, preferably in-house or at a top law firm.
  • In-depth understanding of legal intricacies within GPO, SaaS, and Foodservice sectors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to leverage AI-assisted tools effectively.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads and prioritize competing deadlines under pressure.
