Location: Hybrid in San Francisco (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office)
Salary: $188K – $215K + Equity

What you will do
- Drive a wide range of litigation and pre-litigation matters, managing fact-finding and demand letter responses.
- Oversee outside counsel and insurance providers to deliver favorable outcomes and manage costs.
- Act as a trusted advisor on employment law across the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance management, and terminations.
- Draft and review employment-related agreements, offer letters, and separation agreements.
- Develop internal templates and policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support M&A activities, focusing on employment and benefits diligence and integration.
Requirements
- J.D. and active standing in at least one U.S. state bar (California preferred).
- 7+ years of combined legal experience in litigation and employment matters in-house at a tech company or at a top-tier law firm.
- Must be based in San Francisco for a hybrid work arrangement.
- Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and sound business judgment.
Nice to have
- Strong familiarity with e-discovery strategy and management.
- Experience with executive compensation and sales commission arrangements.
- Prior experience focused on technology companies.
- Familiarity with trends in artificial intelligence and large language models.
