Salary: $188K – $215K + Equity

What you will do

• Drive a wide range of litigation and pre-litigation matters, managing fact-finding and demand letter responses.
• Oversee outside counsel and insurance providers to deliver favorable outcomes and manage costs.
• Act as a trusted advisor on employment law across the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance management, and terminations.
• Draft and review employment-related agreements, offer letters, and separation agreements.
• Develop internal templates and policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support M&A activities, focusing on employment and benefits diligence and integration.

Requirements

• J.D. and active standing in at least one U.S. state bar (California preferred).
• 7+ years of combined legal experience in litigation and employment matters in-house at a tech company or at a top-tier law firm.
• Must be based in San Francisco for a hybrid work arrangement.
• Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and sound business judgment.

• Experience with executive compensation and sales commission arrangements.
• Prior experience focused on technology companies.
