What you will do

• Independently negotiate SaaS agreements, DPAs, distribution/partner agreements, and NDAs.
• Manage and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Provide clear and pragmatic legal advice on contract terms, security, and data privacy requirements.
• Develop and maintain contracting resources including templates, playbooks, and handbooks.
• Participate in projects to scale the legal department and improve internal processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver solutions-oriented legal advice across internal functions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school (JD) and bar admission in good standing.
• 4+ years of sales-side transactional experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Understanding of SaaS contracting models, data privacy, and revenue recognition issues.
• Proven drafting skills with high attention to detail and efficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities under pressure.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with a rapidly growing company.
• Exposure to data security and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Experience in project management of cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience using Ironclad, DocuSign, Confluence, and/or Salesforce/CPQ.
