Senior Corporate Counsel (SaaS/Legal): Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements for cloud contact center platforms and AI-enabled services with an accent on revenue growth and risk management. Location: Must be based in the United States. Remote for those outside 50 miles of San Ramon; Hybrid (3 days/week) for those within 50 miles of San Ramon.

Salary: $95,600 - $265,900 USD

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, DPAs, EULAs, and SLAs.
• Lead complex legal transactions for customers across retail, insurance, finance, and healthcare verticals.
• Advise internal stakeholders on liability, AI and data use, data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Compliance, Procurement, and Finance teams to close deals.
• Develop and improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and scalable legal processes to increase deal velocity.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 7–12 years of combined law firm and in-house legal experience.
• 4+ years of in-house experience negotiating complex agreements in a high-pressure technology sales environment.
• Significant experience with SaaS, cloud, and other technology agreements.
• Experience addressing telecommunications, data privacy, AI, and cybersecurity issues.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting product teams with AI-enabled and data-driven technology.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, and U.S. privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA).
• Knowledge of GTM strategy and finance processes for cloud companies.
• Proficiency in improving contract lifecycle management (CLM) and legal operations.
