Salary: $100 - $5,000 a month (commission-based)

What you will do

• Promote Sofar’s brand and sell tickets using self-directed local marketing tactics.
• Develop and execute a city-specific strategy including show frequency, neighborhoods, and themes.
• Lead curation and booking for high-quality, diverse artists and unique venues.
• Manage event staffing and quality to ensure hospitality-rooted experiences.
• Oversee financial performance and health of every event.
• Build relationships with local businesses to drive sponsorship and private event sales.

Requirements

• Must be based in one of the designated US cities.
• 3-5 years of experience in live event curation, production, and promotions.
• Proven track record in selling event sponsorships or marketing activations.
• Deep connections to the local music scene and active role in community building.
• Strong autonomous work ethic and exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to pitch ideas and close partnership deals with professional communication.
