TL;DR
Senior Finance Business Partner (Fintech): Act as business partner and strategic adviser to the CTO providing commercial insights through analysis to influence executive-level decision making with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, and efficiency opportunities. Focus on owning annual budgets, forecasting headcount and vendor spend, preparing business cases for new products, and driving supplier negotiations.
Location: Hybrid: 3 days in office (London or Budapest) / 2 days from home. Office days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Flexibility available for care responsibilities.

What you will do
- Partner with CTO, tech leadership, and aligned departments on commercial insights.
- Highlight efficiency opportunities and evaluate value for money across costs.
- Improve reporting with automation and self-serve Looker dashboards.
- Own annual budget and monthly reporting for your area.
- Forecast headcount and vendor spend to inform hiring and renewals.
- Prepare models for business cases on new products, suppliers, and operations.
Requirements
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years as Finance Business Partner.
- Experience in financial services or technology industries.
- Experience business partnering with Technology function.
- Proactive, self-motivated problem solver.
- Effective communicator able to build relationships across company levels.
- Highly numerate.
