TL;DR

Service Designer (Fintech): Designing end-to-end consumer-centric journeys and North Star experience visions for the Data Management area with an accent on user research and rapid testing. Focus on visualizing outcomes, running stakeholder workshops, and aligning technical constraints with user needs in an agile environment.

Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK) — at least two days per week (40% of time) in office

What you will do

  • Support the Data Management area by creating end-to-end consumer-centric journeys and North Star experience visions.
  • Employ rapid user testing and research techniques to deeply understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to uncover priorities, define scope, and manage risks.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and the wider design community within agile teams.
  • Research and document current and future state services while challenging the validity of constraints.
  • Embed design principles across a variety of product, service, and customer journeys.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in research and design thinking methods.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting ideas and implications to senior, technical, and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and provide a healthy challenge to senior stakeholders.
  • Resilience and calmness when working under pressure and managing emerging priorities.
  • Must be based in the UK and able to attend the Bristol office regularly.
