What you will do

• Own architecture for integration services including file-based transfers, REST APIs, broker interfaces, and data pipelines.
• Drive migration of legacy business logic to modern .NET services while maintaining production stability across ecosystems.
• Optimize Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance for high-volume operations.
• Implement observability, testing standards, and cloud-native Azure improvements like event-driven messaging.
• Champion AI-first engineering practices, targeting high AI-authored code and mentoring team on agentic tooling.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders on integration designs.

Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering in enterprise SaaS, as Principal or Senior Principal Engineer.
• Deep C#/.NET expertise across legacy and modern codebases.
• Strong Oracle Database and PL/SQL proficiency for complex queries and performance tuning.
• Experience with file integrations (CSV, XML, SFTP), REST APIs, multi-tenant isolation, and Azure cloud.
• Legacy modernization, connector architectures, queue processing, and AI-first mindset.
• Observability practices and fluent communication with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Boomi/iPaaS, Hangfire, containerization, WCF/SOAP migrations.
• Financial services background, equity compensation, Azure DevOps CI/CD.
• Security hardening and cloud-native Azure services like Blob Storage or Service Bus.
