What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications, scalable web applications, REST APIs, and system integrations.
• Translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning for application modernization and digital transformation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, support releases and deployments, and implement improvements for reliability and performance.
• Drive automation, engineering best practices, secure software development, and continuous improvement across the SDLC.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership while collaborating with global stakeholders.

Requirements

• Location: Toronto and hybrid work with at least 3 days a week in-office (subject to change).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/IT or related field, with 8–12+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET/.NET Core, REST API development, and modern web application development.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (design, stored procedures/views, indexing, query optimization, performance tuning, maintenance).
• Experience supporting business-critical applications, including IIS administration, deployments, and production support.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC practices, source control, CI/CD, and secure coding principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python scripting, and automation.
• Experience with CMS and exposure to cloud platforms and modern application architectures.
• Experience in financial services/capital markets/FinTech or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to AI-enabled business solutions and workflow automation.
