What you will do

• Conduct policy and practice landscape scans and develop resources for state leaders and partners.
• Analyze and communicate data use policy and practice at local, state, and federal levels.
• Create and execute advocacy tools and manage product deadlines to ensure impactful results.
• Research emerging issues, specifically focusing on the impact of AI technologies.
• Translate data legislation expertise into insights for partners, funders, and the broader field.
• Design and lead action-oriented meetings to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in the DC-area for hybrid office attendance (1-2 days/week).
• Minimum 5 years of combined education and professional experience for Associate; 8 years for Senior Associate.
• Proven experience in research, policy analysis, and writing for diverse audiences.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines while navigating ambiguous assignments.
