TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Orlando, FL. US Citizenship and Active Secret Security Clearance are required.

What you will do
- Create and maintain component-level FMECA worksheets following MIL STD 1629A and internal standards.
- Identify failure modes, associated causes, and their effects on overall system performance.
- Define accelerated life test objectives and acceleration factors using Arrhenius or Coffin Manson models.
- Coordinate the execution of tests with internal laboratories.
- Assign criticality rankings and document mitigation strategies throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- US Citizenship and Active Secret Security Clearance are mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 1-3 years of hands-on reliability engineering experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in component-level FMECA and thermal cycling tests.
- Proficiency with reliability analysis standards such as MIL STD 1629A or IEC 60812.
- Strong capabilities in root cause analysis and data interpretation.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering tools like Cameo.
- Experience with reliability software (ReliaSoft, Weibull++, ANSYS) or statistical tools (Minitab, R, Python).
- Practical hands-on experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage subcontractors within the reliability field.
