What you will do

• Create and maintain component-level FMECA worksheets following MIL STD 1629A and internal standards.
• Identify failure modes, associated causes, and their effects on overall system performance.
• Define accelerated life test objectives and acceleration factors using Arrhenius or Coffin Manson models.
• Coordinate the execution of tests with internal laboratories.
• Assign criticality rankings and document mitigation strategies throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and Active Secret Security Clearance are mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 1-3 years of hands-on reliability engineering experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in component-level FMECA and thermal cycling tests.
• Proficiency with reliability analysis standards such as MIL STD 1629A or IEC 60812.
• Strong capabilities in root cause analysis and data interpretation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering tools like Cameo.
• Experience with reliability software (ReliaSoft, Weibull++, ANSYS) or statistical tools (Minitab, R, Python).
• Practical hands-on experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage subcontractors within the reliability field.
