TL;DR

What you will do

  • Build and test satellite flight hardware in collaboration with the avionics engineering team.
  • Design test equipment to validate hardware designs across a wide range of stressed conditions.
  • Perform bring-up and debug of electronics designs within the lab environment.
  • Write Python and C++ code to evaluate performance and automate hardware testing.
  • Develop low-level software to interface with various spacecraft subsystems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent technical degree).
  • Must be planning to pursue a graduate degree following the associate role.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card is strictly required to comply with export regulations.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
  • Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Altium Designer or other PCB design software.
  • Experience with SPICE-based simulators such as LTSpice, PSPICE, or ADS.
  • Comfortable with soldering and hardware rework.
  • Familiarity with standard EE lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
  • Knowledge of basic switched mode converter design (boost and buck converters).
