What you will do
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
- Take ownership of meaningful projects with a level of complexity equivalent to full-time employee tasks.
- Perform hands-on design and development in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the creation of hardware intended for space deployment.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in mechanical, aerospace, physics, or applied math.
- Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- Strong passion for hardware development and hands-on engineering.
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.
Nice to have
- Experience with CAD.
- Experience with analytical software for stress or thermal analysis.
- Knowledge of electromechanical system design and specification.
- Experience with control system modeling and design.
