What you will do

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• Take ownership of meaningful projects with a level of complexity equivalent to full-time employee tasks.
• Perform hands-on design and development in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to the creation of hardware intended for space deployment.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in mechanical, aerospace, physics, or applied math.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• Strong passion for hardware development and hands-on engineering.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD.
• Experience with analytical software for stress or thermal analysis.
• Knowledge of electromechanical system design and specification.
• Experience with control system modeling and design.
