What you will do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• Develop structures, bracketry, and mechanisms using various manufacturing techniques.
• Perform mechanical and thermal analysis for spacecraft systems.
• Integrate parts into the spacecraft and develop procedures to optimize the build process.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or an equivalent technical degree.
• Passion for hands-on hardware development and working in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD.
• Experience with analytical software for stress or thermal analysis.
• Experience with electromechanical system design and specification.
• Experience with control system modeling and design.
