What you will do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Operate environmental test equipment, including ambient thermal chambers and Thermal Vacuum Chambers (TVAC).
• Utilize vibration shaker tables and EMI/EMC test equipment to validate hardware.
• Use instruments such as DAQs and oscilloscopes to successfully execute detailed test plans.
• Conduct comprehensive testing covering vibration, acoustics, thermal, and RF requirements.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.
• Must be onsite 5 days a week in San Francisco.
• Passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with spacecraft systems and operations.

Nice to have

• Experience writing Python code to interface with test equipment and process/visualize large datasets.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Direct electrical or mechanical design experience.
• Demonstrated ability to debug hardware and software problems under time pressure.
