TL;DR
Business Development Associate (SaaS): Developing sales opportunities and booking qualified meetings for enterprise webcasting and investor relations platforms with an accent on cold-calling and lead generation. Focus on researching high-value prospects, executing outreach tactics, and maintaining CRM hygiene to drive pipeline growth.
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. Initially onsite (5 days/week), with hybrid flexibility (WFH Mon/Fri) available for those achieving goals for two consecutive months.
Salary: 60,000 CAD base + 30,000 CAD target commission (Total: 90,000 CAD).

What you will do
- Develop sales opportunities through extensive cold-calling and various outreach tactics.
- Maintain high daily call volumes to convert prospective customers into qualified opportunities.
- Research and identify the right contacts to prepare tailored opening pitches.
- Document all leads and appointments accurately in Salesforce.com to ensure pipeline hygiene.
- Collaborate with Sales Executives and Account Managers to book and secure first meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in lead generation, sales, or marketing.
- Must be based in Toronto, Canada to work from the office.
- Strong communication skills and a high level of resilience and tenacity.
- Competitive spirit with a drive to exceed targets regularly.
