TL;DR

AI Engineer (Insurance): Designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions to transform insurance operations with an accent on AI-powered workflows and infrastructure efficiency. Focus on building scalable models using Azure and n8n, integrating AI into business processes, and improving customer experience.

Location: Hybrid in Liverpool City Centre, UK. No visa sponsorship available; applicants must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa.

Salary: up to £45,000

What you will do

  • Design and implement AI models and algorithms for various business use cases.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with AI Analysts.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows using n8n, Azure (AKS, Storage, Postgres), and AI Foundry.
  • Maintain AI infrastructure and applications while contributing to best practices and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Javascript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
  • Must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa.

Nice to have

  • Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools.
  • Knowledge of data engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with insurance fraud patterns and counter-fraud analytics tools.
