What you will do

• Manage complex customer accounts to ensure timely payment and resolution of billing queries.
• Process and allocate monies received from remittances and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Liaise with Sales and Operational teams to address customer inquiries and disputes.
• Report on aged debt and escalate potential credit risks to management.
• Take ownership of shortage and price claims, managing the end-to-end resolution process.
• Collaborate with the Credit Control manager to improve team processes and execute finance system test scenarios.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a credit control or finance role.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Leeds, UK.
