What you will do

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance across Accounts Receivable, Credit, Risk, and Accounts Payable functions.
  • Drive performance metrics including DSO, aged debt, and creditor days to optimize liquidity.
  • Lead the digital evolution of finance operations by integrating AI, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Standardize and optimize transactional processes to reduce manual intervention and improve service levels.
  • Partner with Commercial Finance, FP&A, and Technology teams to enhance cash forecasting and decision-making.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing leadership team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work from Reading, UK.
  • Proven experience leading AR, Credit, Risk, or AP functions in a complex, commercial organization.
  • Strong track record in working capital management, including DSO/DPO optimization and cash flow forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of financial controls, risk management frameworks, and audit requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation, process redesign, and AI-enabled improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing senior managers and building high-performing teams.
