Salary: $188,000 – $275,000

What you will do

• Build and develop a world-class engineering team by hiring and mentoring top talent.
• Design and implement managed data solutions and services delivered via APIs.
• Improve the performance, security, reliability, and scalability of data services.
• Establish guidelines and guardrails for data access, storage, and protection regulation compliance.
• Analyze telemetry and system data to optimize throughput, latency, and resilience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with platform, product, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing data service infra teams and 5+ years of hands-on software or infrastructure engineering.
• Expertise in open table formats such as Iceberg, DeltaLake, or Hudi.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, key management, and data governance.
• Deep understanding of CAP theorem, concurrency models, and reliability engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for event-driven and stateful orchestration.
• Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.
