What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior data engineers focused on technical innovation and engineering excellence.
• Design and implement new data pipeline architectures, patterns, and reusable frameworks.
• Architect scalable solutions using dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, AWS, and Python to enable ML capabilities.
• Establish development standards, including code reviews, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automated data quality frameworks and observability tools to ensure reliability at scale.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Clinical, and Data Science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data engineering experience with a proven track record of leading engineers and technical projects.
• Deep expertise in the modern data stack: dbt, Snowflake, Python, and SQL at scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture, serverless, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience working with complex healthcare datasets and relational complexities.
• Expertise in Git, CI/CD, testing, and agile development practices.
• Must be based in the US

Nice to have

• Experience in a scale-up or rapid-growth technology company.
• Proficiency in IaC tools like AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• ML engineering experience, including feature stores and MLOps.
• Healthcare interoperability knowledge (HL7, FHIR).
