QA Automation Framework Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web applications, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Expand automated test coverage and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing practices in Agile environments.
• Partner with development teams to improve software quality and accelerate reliable delivery.
• Debug complex issues and validate data using SQL.

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA automation experience; 6+ years of overall experience preferred for the position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright and REST API automation.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, software development life cycles, SQL, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and documentation.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud-based testing with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Behavior-driven development frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Security testing fundamentals, including OWASP and basic penetration testing.
