What you will do

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new businesses in the assigned territory to grow the merchant network.
  • Execute a field-first approach by visiting prospective merchants daily and attending local events.
  • Own the full sales cycle, using a mix of in-person, phone, email, and virtual touchpoints.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
  • Identify untapped local market opportunities that align with customer demand.
  • Track key activity and performance metrics within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience, complemented by strong inside sales skills.
  • Expertise in full-cycle sales methodology with emphasis on conversion optimization.
  • Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be based in Washington, D.C. or surrounding area due to frequent in-state travel.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and OKRs in a fast-paced environment.
