Location: Must be based in Washington, D.C or surrounding area due to frequent in-state travel and in-person meetings

Salary: $57,900 – $81,000 base salary

What you will do

  • Build and grow the merchant network by prospecting, pitching, and closing new businesses in the assigned territory.
  • Execute a field-first approach through daily merchant visits, local event attendance, and relationship nurturing.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including outreach, drop-ins, negotiation, and closing via multiple touchpoints.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
  • Act as a local market expert to identify untapped opportunities aligned with customer demand.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline and track performance metrics within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience combined with strong inside sales skills.
  • Expertise in full-cycle sales methodology with a focus on conversion optimization.
  • Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be based in Washington, D.C or surrounding area.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and OKRs in fast-paced environments.
