What you will do

• Extract and organize financial data, KPIs, and qualitative information for public equities across various industries.
• Manage data ingestion and transformation workflows using LLMs to convert unstructured data into structured signals.
• Troubleshoot and rectify data issues in the internal system, collaborating with Engineering and 3rd party providers.
• Oversee the publication of content to ensure accuracy and adherence to CNBC journalistic standards.
• Contribute to the development of AI agents for earnings season and stock move coverage.
• Improve quantitative factor-based stock picking models and support new feature development.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience analyzing equity market filings and financial data for investment or sell-side research teams.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and proficiency in reading financial statements across various sectors.
• Ability to identify drivers of individual stock and overall market movements on a trading day basis.
• Experience using LLMs for equity research or data extraction workflows.
• Must be able to work onsite at the CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
