Salary: $115,000 - $200,000 Annual

What you will do

• Monitor fraud model performance and conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on deteriorating models.
• Develop tactical and strategic action plans to address and remediate model performance issues.
• Author executive summaries and detailed documentation to ensure transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with model developers and validation teams to optimize credit strategies.
• Evaluate and implement new fraud models and technology tools for acquisitions and payments.
• Perform model implementation validations and provide ad hoc analytics for fraud strategy leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Credit, Marketing, Risk, or Collections within financial services (or 9+ years without a degree).
• 3+ years of experience with statistical tools including SAS, Python, and Tableau.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel.
• 3+ years of experience in retail, business, installment loans, or private label credit.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; the company will not sponsor employment visas.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree or MBA with an advanced analytic focus.
• Strong understanding of model evaluation metrics such as precision, recall, and F1.
• Familiarity with modeling approaches like logistic regression and tree ensembles.
• Experience collaborating with off-shore teams.
