Consultant IT Operations (Project Management): Supporting the business of IT and delivering a wide range of IT projects within the PMO with an accent on operational efficiency, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on operationalizing strategic initiatives, implementing process improvements, and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Must be based in or able to work from Livonia, Michigan)
Salary: $105,654 – $174,330

What you will do
- Act as a primary liaison between business units, the IT organization, and external vendors to ensure solutions meet operational constraints.
- Operationalize strategic initiatives by cultivating relationships with Clinical, Revenue, Finance, and IT business lines.
- Identify and execute operational improvement opportunities by studying business functions and analyzing quantitative data.
- Lead and monitor the progress of one or more IT Centers of Excellence, executing prioritized business plans.
- Manage daily activities of assigned colleagues, providing coaching, training, and development to ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain adherence to Federal, State, and local laws and organizational integrity programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting or relevant leadership experience.
- Foundational knowledge of IT operations or IT project management.
- Expert-level knowledge in at least two business operations disciplines (e.g., financial management, vendor management, change leadership).
- Certification in PX Essentials and Root Cause Analysis; A3 Thinking for Leaders certification required within 12 months of hire.
- Ability to work in a typical office environment in Livonia, Michigan.

- Master's degree.
- Previous people management experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
