Counsel, Americas - Regulatory & International Legal (Gaming)

TL;DR

Legal Counsel (Gaming/AI): Advising on online safety, AI, and consumer laws in the Americas with an accent on regulatory compliance and legislative analysis. Location: Must be based in the US (San Mateo, CA office is hybrid: Tue, Wed, Thu onsite).

What you will do

• Evaluate and advise on existing and emerging online safety, AI, and consumer regulations in the Americas.
• Develop and implement comprehensive regional compliance strategies.
• Identify and educate internal cross-functional teams on new legislative and regulatory trends.
• Respond to legal requests and provide practical advice aligned with business objectives.
• Support regulatory engagement activities.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant legal experience.
• License to practice law in a US jurisdiction.
• Experience working within the social media, content, or gaming industries.
• Proven track record of tracking and analyzing state and federal legislative proposals.
• Experience interacting with online safety, consumer, or other relevant regulators.
• Must have United States work authorization (H-1B sponsorship and certain visa categories are not supported).
