What you will do

• Lead complex pre-sales engagements, including discovery, architecture design, solution positioning, and technical validation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT practitioners and senior leaders to translate business objectives into secure and scalable architectures.
• Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations that articulate business value and cyber risk reduction.
• Design and manage proofs-of-concept (POCs) to technical closure based on customer success criteria.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to define architectural strategies for ransomware recovery and hybrid-cloud adoption.
• Partner with product management and engineering to influence solution architecture and product direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales systems engineering or solutions architecture for large enterprise environments.
• Proven success leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles, from discovery to executive-level engagements.
• Strong technical background in data resilience, infrastructure platforms, virtualization, cloud services, and security.
• Foundational understanding of AI, machine learning, and LLMs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for delivering messages to executives and technical audiences.
• Must be based in the United States to align with compensation and geographic zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud and SaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems administration in enterprise deployments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, or Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of API-driven automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Relevant technical or industry certifications in cloud, security, or architecture.
