TL;DR

Sales Engineer II (Cloud/Security): Developing business cases and technical differentiation for cloud-first networking and security solutions with an accent on DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and cloud infrastructure. Focus on designing architectural diagrams, conducting POCs, and removing technical barriers in the sales process.

Location: Switzerland (Zurich). Hybrid setup (Home Office) with a requirement for frequent field travel.

What you will do

  • Build business cases and technical differentiation by educating customers and partners on solutions.
  • Develop pre-sales engineering content, including presentations, demos, and webinars.
  • Design solutions and architectural diagrams showing integration with other vendors.
  • Educate partner technical sales teams on identifying and positioning hirify.global solutions.
  • Collaborate with account managers to remove technical barriers in the sales process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting technical sales or 5+ years in networking engineering/operations.
  • Working knowledge of design and implementation for AWS, Azure, VMWare, Kubernetes, or Nextgen Firewalls.
  • Deep experience in networking technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Routing, and Switching.
  • Native-level German.
  • Ability to work in the field frequently; travel is required.

  • Technical certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CASP+, CySA+, or CEH.
