Supplier Quality Engineer (Hardware)

Location: Hybrid (Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; San Francisco, CA; Bellevue, WA) or Remote for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office. Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, green card holder, etc.) for export control compliance.

Salary: $143,000 – $210,000

What you will do

• Act as the primary quality interface for the compute hardware supply chain.
• Own the full quality lifecycle for server, rack, and system-level integrators.
• Drive APQP execution and PPAP approvals for NVIDIA GPU-based platforms.
• Conduct supplier audits and validate firmware, thermal, and system-level performance.
• Define acceptance criteria and enforce quality standards to ensure zero-defect launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience in high-tech hardware (servers, storage, or networking).
• Demonstrated ownership of APQP phase-gate processes and PPAP submissions.
• Hands-on experience with GPU servers, rack integration, and thermal management.
• Working knowledge of NVIDIA GPU platforms (Hopper, Blackwell).
• Must be a U.S. Person for export control compliance.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Direct experience with NVIDIA HGX or Blackwell GB200 NVL systems.
• Familiarity with liquid-cooled rack systems (DLC/CDU).
• Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers or ODM/OEM partners.
