What you will do

• Serve as a strategic technical advisor for government-funded R&D programs in microelectronics and AI hardware.
• Evaluate new technological concepts and assess gaps in national security investment.
• Provide recommendations on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs.
• Track and evaluate the progress of sponsored research and communicate technical findings to senior DoD decision-makers.
• Conduct in-depth analyses and background research on disruptive applications in sensing, communications, and computing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in microelectronics hardware technologies, including AI or quantum computing hardware.
• Experience developing materials or processes for AI microelectronics.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Knowledge of computing architectures integrating traditional GPUs with next-generation computing.

Nice to have

• Doctorate degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with precision or quantum measurement.
• Experience designing, fabricating, or testing chip-scale devices or circuits.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication tools and processes.
